Numerology 4.2 Build 171
This build has some UI fixes for OS X Sierra. Also: you can now do Step Record w/o the transport running. And: there's a new controller spec ("Performance Controller"), but it is still a work in progress -- I'll post some initial notes on it below.
DOWNLOADS: http://files.five12.com/NumerologyPro-4.2-Build171.dmg http://files.five12.com/NumerologySE-4.2-Build171.dmg RELEASE NOTES: Numerology 4.2 Build 171 Fixes: - Keyboard Module : fixed a drawing issue in OS X Sierra. - Audio Meters (in Mixer) : fixed a drawing issue in OS X Sierra. Updates: - STEP REC : The MonoNote, PolyNote & DrumSeq can now do step recording when the transport is not running. New Feature: Performance Controller This is a new controller type that combines sequence editing, via a MIDI keyboard, and general purpose remote control, via "Knobs & Buttons" MIDI controller. This combination allows you to configure a flexible, performance-friendly controller setup whereby you use the keyboard for entering and modifying sequences, and the knobs-n-buttons controller for adjusting other parameters. You can use two separate MIDI controllers -- say a Launch Control and a MIDI keyboard, or a single keyboard controller provided that it has some assignable knobs and buttons. -- more notes on this coming shortly... |

So the release notes are talking about a coming release 172 and not the 171 , right ? |
Cubase 9 Issue(s)?
Hello Jim,
Thanks for this. Congrats on the new h/w gear roll-out! Busy times. I might have missed it: where are we with the Steinberg/Cubase crash issue from back a while? Of course, I can give it a roll to find out but thought I'd check in for the official word. Thnx. ...edN |

Performance controller out in this update?
Was not clear from your short post whether the first version was included in this latest update....I am not seeing it, but happy to wait if I misunderstood your note.

Hi Jim,
Is Performance Controller a new type of controller setup or a new behavior for existing controllers? I don't see it in the 'Controller Setup...' window. Obliged for any pointers! n. |
