Default longer gates from short triggers

Hello,

sometimes I need some longer notes to be extracted from a existing sequence.
The problem was that there were only short gates to get from sutch a sequence.
Now I found a solution to make longer gates from short triggers:
The trigger gate starts a faster GateSeq were you can set the steps to Tie as many as you need.
This GateSeq is set at the Module Run Mode Setting to Play Mode: CV Trig: Play, Loop Off and Auto Reset On.
You can reach this settings by pressing the E in the small grey circle below the transport buttons.
Please see longer gates from short triggers by jue example file for details.

The second example longer gates from short triggers articulated by jue shows what new posibilities for articulation are possible.

With a VelocitySeq added its more a simulated echo at longer gates used for echos by jue and it got more interesting with setting the GateSeq and the VelocitySeq to random with the next example longer gates used for random echos by jue.

As last project there is the output distributed to 4 chanels by using the MIDI Processor and the NoteFilter.

best
jue

Very nice, the concept starts off simply and gets very musical by the last, most complex example.

Useful idea, I wish I had thought of that!

I can see many uses for this technique...
