Nice work Jim.

I do like the sample library from what I've seen so far. Need to spend more time with the other new stuff to give better feedback.

Couldn't load the FM percussion samples - anyone else able to recreate this?

Thanks

manual : keyboard shortcuts are out of date
manual : push... can we have similar to the launchpad diagrams, in particular i always find it hard to remember the sequence control. (don't need labels, but a cheat sheet would be useful)
manual : launchpad, is seq control diagram up to date? its different on push, as << >> etc are now on main pad.

push : if you press the seqmode key again, it also shows what looks like play mode (i.e. a keyboard) whats this for?

was great to be able to read about the new sample kit

Semitone offsets for the current sequencer *without* changing the key.

Thanks for the update, Jim! Are we getting closer to being able to import midi files and convert them to step sequences within Numerology?

the push is a bit different from the launchpad, as functions have move to things like browse/device/record/play keys… which is cool, but might be confusing for new users.
besides, might be useful for prospective buyers, often when Im buying software go thru the manual first… and as a push owner if I saw the push layout, I think that would be a major plus.

anyway, all cool… personally I'm finding my way around the N4 with Push quite easily now

so do you think next build (145?) will be release candidate… seems like only a few small things left to do, before the release

EDIT: are all the functions on the push? I'm a bit confused about what the gear symbol functions do (in blue) and if they work on the push, I'm guessing preset functions, but only dup appears to work.
also, can we please have a 'len x2' button on sequencers, which duplicates... i like to use this especially with drums, to do basic beats then embellish.

Hey Jim
from my side just a great THANK YOU for all the great creative stuff you're coming up with.
The compositional power of N4 never ceases to surprise me.
I tweaked the Twinkle stack last night and quickly turned it into a Boards of Canada kind of tune.
Cheers from Ye Olde Continent

I did a search of the forum for anything referencing 'Yosemite'. Didn't see anything. Any known issues if I upgrade my Mac from Mavericks to Yosemite?

I have not tested on Yosemite yet, so I would recommend either waiting, or install it on an external drive such that you can easily move back to Mavericks. Even if Numerology runs fine, chances are something else you depend on may have an issue...

I have 3 partitions on my laptop, I plan to keep 10.8.5 on one, but will probably update the 10.7 partition to Yosemite and keep 10.9 on the 3rd. I have an older laptop for running 10.6.8....

Yes, but that's still on the list for 4.1 ...
