Default Virtual instruments, presets.

Returning to Numerology.

So many years ago I used Numerology to create some great music!
I am now retired, and have much more time on my hands, and want to get back to it.

Then I was running Num 2 under Mac 10.4.7 and it worked great.
Now I have a new Mac Mini running 10.12.2 Sierra, and just downloaded Num 4 and running it in demo mode. I will pay for an upgrade as soon as I can solve this problem.

I can not find many of my virtual instruments, and none of their preset banks.
I used to have quite a few virtual instruments, lots and lots of preset banks, and many effects.

Did the file system change?

I still have the presets in “Jupiter/Users/Corlin/Library/Presets”
(Jupiter = my main hard drive)
But when I load a virtual instrument none of the preset banks are available.

Where (in my file system) should I put virtual instruments, and where do I put the presets?

Thanks if you can help.

Numerology can run in 32 or 64 bits !
Read in the manual.
It is explained how to run the application in either mode.

solved.... since most of the virtual instruments and presets were free ones, just deleted them and re-downloaded them. it worked!
i think they were 32 bit, and am running the 64 bit version of num 4.

Just to understand , you had loaded those when they were 32 bits probably and by re-downloading them, they must be now 64 bits , right ?

I think that is what happened, not sure why it worked, but it did.

Good to hear. I'm just now able to catch up on some of these forum threads from last week. Let me know if you need anything else!
