Default AU support for additional DAWS?

Hi.

Is there any info available on which other DAWS may be supported in the future by Numerology? In particular, I'm curious about StudioOne Pro, Reaper, and Cubase.

Thank you.

I'll be testing with Reaper and StudioOne later this week. Cubase is VST of course, so that will have to wait a bit longer..

Cheers,
Jim

Hmmm...that implies that Cubase (and VST?) is at least on the radar?

Please let me/us know the outcomes from the Reaper and StudioOne tests and if we can be of any assistance.

Thanks.

Hello,

I am no programmer but I knew that there is a very big difference between AU and VST programming. The programmer has to use completly different tools for the development. AU means tools from Apple and VST means tools (SDK) from Steinberg. So Jim has to make the same thing again for VST so it is clear that this is not done in the near future.
Personally I use Cubase a lot for recording the results of Numerology and for finishing my tracks. Using several ways to get the Numerology data into Cubase like Rewire or plain MIDI, having the instruments/fxs in Cubase and using the export funktions from there track by track.

best
jue

Yes, but don't hold your breath. As Jue mentions, it is a completely different API -- though there are many correspondences. The thing about all plugin APIs is that there tends to be many undocumented details that are often only found through trial and error, so I can't make any promises at all in terms of availability.

Cheers,
Jim

OK. Long range over the horizon radar then.

VST support is not high on my list to be honest. A nice to have, but far from a need.

Now about that parameter automation recording.....
