Default Free Sounds and Samples

Hello, here are two links to two projects dedicated to free Sounds and Samples:

The Freesound Project is a collaborative database of Creative Commons licensed sounds. Freesound focusses only on sound, not songs.
You can find it here:
http://www.freesound.org/

The sounds found project is a repository of audio recordings from the field. You are free to do with them whatever you desire.
You can find it here:
http://soundsfound.sighup.ca/

If you know more free non commercial projects please post here.

best

Default More free sounds from the web

hello,
If you are looking for some fieldrecordings from the globe:
The SoundTransit project revolves around a growing collection of environmental sounds recorded by 'soundhunters' from all over the world

You can find them here:
http://soundtransit.nl/

And the download is free.
You can even book a audiojourney around the world.

Best

If you are not aware of KVR (a great site for free plug-in info), one of the users maintains a list of free and legal sample / loop sites that is updated semi-regularly. Some of the older links will no doubt be broken, but there is still plenty of great material to be had:

http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=37272

This is a good one to check out:

http://samples.kb6.de/downloads.php

750 MB of vintage / classic drum machine hits ... you can't go wrong with that

Peace,
Andy.

If you are looking for free high quality sounds of London Philharmonia. They have sampled all the instruments and everything is available for free to download here:
http://www.philharmonia.co.uk/explore/sound_samples

And if by chance you are interested more in electronic music, take a look at this link. This is a store, but you can also download about 2GB of free samples just by "buying" them for $0
