Hello Numerology users.
I’m quite new to Numerology. I’m using it as a VST in a host software. I would like to be able to spontaneously reset MonoNote to step one by sending a momentarily MIDI CC message. I can’t figure out how. Is there a way? Thanks for any help. Cheers. |

Read about all the play mode there is in the MonoNote sequencer and you should understand how you do it. I think the way you should do it is choosing the manual play mode and do a midi learn on the play button. |

Thanks a lot Aramis for your reply.
Following your advice, I tried assigning a CC message to the play button of the MonoNote module and setting the Auto-Reset found in the Module Run Mode Settings to ON. It kind of works but not exactly what I'm trying to achieve since to go back to step one, I have to stop the module to reset it and then quickly press play to restart it, which create a delay. I'm trying to have the « Play-head » jump to step one at the same pace as it runs thru all the steps. That is what I'm trying to resolve now. |

Ok. I have found a way. Maybe not the most elegant one but it seems to work; I have assigned a CC momentarily message to the EndStep of the MonoNote. When I quickly press the pad of my controller it send a « 1 » message, so the EndStep goes to step one and when the pad is released, the EndStep goes back to 16.

Hello,
here is my solution to your problem: Mononote Reset by Button When you press the reset button at the ButtonBox the MonoNote resets to step 1. What only left is that you have to assign your MIDI controller to the reset button at the ButtonBox. best jue
