Is this possible ...?
I have tried ...the module play button I can right click on but no joy ..and the global play doesn't even respond to a right click. Ps....sorry ..I have just found transport midi 1 in the controller section....looks like this is what I want... I dont think this has made it into the manual....any tips might be helpfull. Thanks Last edited by musicman666; 06-25-2014 at 08:12 AM. |

I always thought this and the APC40 were pretty much bound up and locked in with Live. Unless you know Python which is the scripting environment that links the hardware to Live. I suppose Numerology as a plug-in might be accessible.
But I haven't used my APC40 for a while. Or Live for that matter. So you can take this with a grain of salt: You might also look at this site -- http://www.nativekontrol.com/ He's done some great extending of many Controllers and Control Surfaces, APC20 among them. Maybe there's something there than will help. ...edN |

So the ap20 isn't just throwing out simple midi signals that can be mapped using learn?
Ok ....back into storage for the apc20... Last edited by musicman666; 06-27-2014 at 07:20 AM. |

AFAIK, all the APC controllers use plain-ol-MIDI, but you can easily verify that with the MIDI Monitor from snoize.com -- which will also tell you what those messages are. Proper support for APC's is on my list, but will not make it for the 4.0 release...
